We are lucky in Eldon to have access to some beautiful local countryside via a number of public rights of way.
Rights of way are shown on the Definitive Map of Public Rights of Way which is maintained by Durham County Council.
The Online Definitive Map of Public Rights of Way includes a drop down box to enable you to search for rights of way by Parish Council area or by postcode.
We hope in the future to work with Durham County Council to publish some leaflets showing walks and places of interest in and around Eldon. Watch this space!
